Green Finance & Solar Loans

Green finance and solar loans can spread the cost of rooftop solar and battery storage for eligible applicants. Some products advertise low or $0-upfront payments. Approval, interest and fees sit with the lender or installer — never with Solar Alliance.

Finance options, not a loan from us

Solar Alliance is not a financier. We connect homeowners with installers who may offer payment plans or refer eligible customers to a lender. We cannot approve an application, promise a rate, or guarantee $0-upfront solar.

What to ask before you sign

Treat solar finance like any other consumer credit. Read the contract, not the brochure.

  • Interest rate, comparison rate, fees and the total amount payable
  • Whether the finance is a loan, a payment plan or a lease
  • What happens if the system underperforms or the installer changes
  • How government rebates or STCs are treated if the finance is approved

Eligibility is the lender’s call

Credit assessment, security and product rules belong to the lender. Some customers may access finance where they qualify. That is never guaranteed on this website.

Questions we hear

Does Solar Alliance provide solar loans?
No. We are a marketing agency and referral network. Finance, if offered, comes from an independent installer or lender.
Is $0-upfront solar always available?
No. Low or $0-upfront options depend on the product and whether you are an eligible applicant. Ask for the full contract before you agree.

Next step

Solar Alliance is a referral network, not an installation company. Quotes, installs, finance and rebates stay with the independent businesses and programs involved.
